This restaurant has become my wife and my favorite for a nearby romantic dinner. We have been here numerous times since they opened, and we often bring our family and friends when they come to visit. The attention to detail is outstanding, and the flavor profile of all the dishes we have tried is as impressive as any fine dining experience I can remember. Plus, the portions are just right. No one leaves hungry!

My wonderful partner surprised me by taking me back to Q for dinner a few days ago. We were joined by another couple. The four of us had a lovely meal and experience, start to finish. The food is outstanding... Surely some of the best in the SW suburbs. If you'd like a more professional review- please google to read Phil Vettel's recommendation for this little gem. If you haven't been here yet- Please visit!!! I would hate to see this restaurant leave town!!! Highly recommend the mayonnaise rolls, the salmon curry and we had some special sausage dish that was so good!!! Deserts were outstanding as well!! Love love love this place!!!!!!

My wife and I tried Q this week. It's really hard to find good quality restaurants in the south suburbs. Q was pretty darn good. I would recommend the: - lemon chicken - French Beef Steak. Skip the - Pad Thai - Curry Chicken - Peach Creme Brulee.

It was my first time here and I'm still trying to figure out why. Excellent!! The food was outstanding - the best lamb chops I have ever had. The Vietnamese salad is worth a return trip back. The sisters are darling. I can't wait to return!

Being a new member to the Orland/Tinley community, I had high expectations for this OVER PRICED establishment. What disgusts me more than the food is fellow yelpers such as I who are PRAISING this restaurant. Me and my son ordered two "authentic" Pho soups, which were anything but. The amount of brown sugar and oil is horrid, not to mention when asked for more bean sprouts, the server brings about a 1/2 portion of bean sprouts. Come on now. We knew from the beginning that this more than pricey Restaurant was going to be mediocre fue to the fact that THEY CANT EVEN DO SPRING ROLLS RIGHT. If you are looking for AMAZING CHEAP AND AUTHENTIC cuisine, please commute out to Saigon Restaurant in Tinley. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

This place is AMAZING. The steak is over the top. French ...something. Sorry I just had three cucumber martini's. WOW.

I dined at Q for lunch and it was a delightful experience. I was the only patron (I showed up as soon as they opened), so the service was awesome! The ambiance is very nice and fancy.....kind of romantic : ) The food was really good. I had the basil fried rice and I really enjoyed it. Prices are slightly higher than usual, but worth it in my opinion.

Employees treat you like family guests, food is unique and delicious. They had relaxing live music when we went there on a Friday night. Overall impressive for the unassuming exterior. We loved the salmon dish with the signature mojito.

This is my first time at Q. What a mix between Asian and French cuisine experience this was. The waitress very helpful with the menu. She help us to experience a truly authentic Vietnamese dishes. The decor was amazing with great French music piped in. We would suggest this place to my friends.

I went to visit my boyfriend's mom in homer glen. In Chicago we have so many great restaurants, but we always have hard time to get something good and fresh in suburbs. This restaurant impressed all three of us. The food was fresh and delicious and the owner is so friendly and talented. We had lunch, that had Thai dishes, but we will be back to try the dinner that have some Vietnamese influence. Thank you for a great experience!
Visiting this restaurant was a family project. My oldest daughter found it on Yelp and my youngest went with me! We loved it! The restaurant is very chic and classy but understated. The furniture is modern but comfortable and the tables are nicely spaced, you have room and privacy. My daughter had a hearty soup and I had a delicious chicken dish with rice. I loved every single grain of food on my plate! My daughter adored her soup as well which surprised me, she tends to be very picky. This classy restaurant is behind the Starbucks in an Orland Park strip mall, not where you would expect to find exquisite Asian fusion food. I hope everyone goes there so it stays in business. Looking for an upscale Asian experience with impeccable service and gracious surroundings? Then get in your car and come here NOW!

A couple of weeks ago we went to Q based on a recommendation of a friend of a friend, and are we glad we did! The setting is elegant but simple, and the food is Vietnamese/French. We started with drinks, and the highlight was the pumpkin martini - perfect drink for this time of year! For the appetizer, we had the Vietnamese Crispy Cake, a traditional Vietnamese pancake that was plenty big enough for the three of us to share. For main courses, I had the Sesame Duck. It was perfectly cooked, and the sauce (orange/sesame) was excellent. My wife had the lamb chops, which were also perfectly prepared and very tasty. Our friend had the Yellow Curry Chicken. The curry was very subtle and aromatic - it had a little bite without being overpowering. For dessert, we had the Green Tea Tiramisu - lots of hazelnut, and very delicious. This is a great little restaurant run by two young Vietnamese sisters. It's tucked away behind the Starbucks and the Walgreens at 159th and Wolf Rd - it's a little hard to spot from the street, but it's definitely worth your time.

I would like to give this restaurant more stars, but the truth is we got seated, we looked over the whole menu and looked around and hung out for about 10 minutes. It appeared as if everyone there was waiting for something. After realizing it was not only expensive (when we could go in the city and pay less for great service/food), but we weren't being acknowledged whatsoever....so we left. We ended up going to a Thai place not too far away, got drinks and food for 1/2 the price.

This tiny contemporary French Vietnamese restaurant is a gem! I had heard wonderful things about Q from my in-laws and was super excited to try it. The interior is soothing and minimalist. The music is very eclectic and sets a great vibe. Once we were seated we were given a drink menu outlining the extensive martini offerings. I started with the pumpkin martini and it was AMAZING. We also ordered a Vietnamese Crispy Cake appetizer. The flavor of the cake was very good and the sauce was delicious. I went with the seafood lover entree and it was very tasty. The flavor was just right and the seafood was not over cooked. I loved the crispy noodles, they added the perfect texture to the dish. My husband chose the duck and the dish was gorgeous. He was nice enough to allow me a taste and the flavor of the orange cognac sauce was outstanding. I also had the opportunity to taste the Lemon Chicken, I'm a sucker for coconut milk so this is going to be my choice the next time I visit. While eating our entrees we all ordered a second cocktail and I went with the lychee and it was very light and not overly sweet. Although Q does have a slightly higher price-point than most are used to in the burbs, the ambiance and quality of the food make the premium worth every penny. I highly suggest Q for romantic date or a nice evening out with friends.

Excellent food, beautiful atmosphere and great service. Everything I've tried has been very good. Tom yum soup, pho, and q fajita, which is stir fry, not really fajita, lol. Great appetizers, and sometimes they have live music.

I have not ate here, but the price of Pho is wayyyyyy to expen$ive and for that reason alone I will not go there. Best Pho I ever had was at a place called ILUVPHO and its XL bowl is 7.95 and they arent cheap with the protein. The food may be excellent but way over priced in my opinion

There is truth to the adage, "You get what you pay for". This is a prime example. The quality and creativity of the food served here exceeds anything we have on the south side. We have been craving new food options for sometime now. I am so pleased to have Q set their foundation in Orland and wish them much success. The food here is spectacular, yes, you can get a bowl of Pho in the city for $8, but never in a clean upscale environment like this one, nor will it be a broth so rich that you understand why they take over 24 hours to make it. This is a true City dining experience in the suburbs.

Tried a few more items: the seafood rolls were crisp and delicious - love the home made sweet and sour. I didn't know what to expect from the Vietnamese Crispy cakes but it was almost like a thin crepe or pancake, filled with veggies and shrimp/chicken, then you put that in a lettuce cup with a little mint and basis... Then top it with a rich sauce. Totally delightful. Also tried a choice from the new appetizer menu on sesame cracker - the texture was great... And all the dishes had the bold spice that I love. I'm glad that we don't have yet another fast food place, this up scale place is much appreciated. We are regulars.

I have to share Phil Vettel's food review of Q because I cannot do it as much justice as he can. Vettel does not impress easily and I think Q is also a rare gem in the southwest burbs sandwiched in a dull land of franchises and dull food. This is what Phil Vettel wrote and I completely agree with him! I am not affiliated with Q and just a reviewer who loves this place! Q Restaurant. You have to root for a restaurant like this. Quee Huynh was all of 19 years old when she came to this country, and now, at the tender age of 26, she's chef and owner of this Vietnamese fusion restaurant in Orland Park that opened in July. The neat-as-a-pin, brightly lit dining room seats 90, and the menu, largely Vietnamese with occasional Thai and French accents, is very approachable. You might assume that the beefsteak entree, topped with two fried eggs, is a concession to American tastes, but it's a recipe handed down from Huynh's grandfather. Elsewhere on the menu, you'll find crunchy seafood rolls, thin strips of pork wrapped around enoki mushrooms in a spicy peppercorn sauce, and a beef ceviche salad that's like a very mild version of xa lach thit bo. The chef's sister, Quan, runs the dining room and oversees the creative martini list and the well-chosen wine selection, which is both food- and budget-friendly. PV

Went to Q with some friends last night. The space is spotless and beautiful and the food and drinks were good. My only complaint was that the pacing was too fast. I had a Green Tea Martini (awesome!) and a 'Whiskey Red Date' (also great). The apps we had were the Malaysian Satay (chicken), the Lemongrass Spring Rolls and the Panko Rolls. Of the 3, I only liked the latter. The satay was overcooked and the Spring Rolls were a little gummy (but the people I was with loved them). For my entree, I had the Enoki Stuffed Pork with wasabi mashed sweet potatoes, Asian veggies and spicy peppercorn sauce. Very good with a nice kick. My friend had the Banana Curry grilled salmon, asparagus, basil, jasmine rice. I would get this next time. Awesomely spicy coconut curry. My friend's husband had the French Beefsteak, which looked good and her niece had the Sesame Duck, which she said was good. The desserts were Green Tea Tiramisu (meh), Banana Bread Pudding (yum) and Coconut Sorbet (served in a real half coconut). Be warned, this place is a little pricey but the food it definitely a cut above. I think if they lowered their price point just a bit, they'd be turning people away. In a town full of mostly corporate chain restaurants, it's nice to see an independent, higher end place. I hope they do well.

I have visited Q twice and both times the food was nothing short of knee-buckling. Their food is right on par with the quality you would get at the finest downtown Chicago restaurant. Imaginative menu, unbelievable cocktails, personal service. This is THE gem of the southwest burbs.

If you go to this restaurant I would recommend ordering some of the suggestions from the other dinners who have taken the time to inform you. I realized that the efforts of the Chefs Best might give you more pleasure from plating to the intricate Sauces and creativeness much more so than the standard Thai Dishes. We ordered Four Thai Dishes that you would find in other Thai Restaurnats and were not impressed. The presentation was nice, however the price was almost double. I'll try this Restaurnt again but not for Standard dishes. It wasen't worth the money.

Went on a Sunday evening. There was barely anyone there. 1] Price is way too high. I would understand the pricing if I was in the city but we're in Orland Park. I yelped this place and saw the rave reviews and I should have checked the price-points. If I had, I would def not have stepped into this place. 2] The waitress was so awkward and I wanted more information about why it was fusion and just background info about the restaurant, but she didn't make an effort. I just wanted to understand the concept of the food etc. 3] I'm sorry but this place will not last. Bad location + way too expensive.

Fantastic dinner tonight at Q Restaurant at 159th and Wolf Road in Orland Park. Don't be fooled by the outside- go in and have an awesome Asian Fusion meal. We tried the duck (Outstanding!), Spicy Sea (with lobster and scallops- delicious!) and the Curry Chicken (some of the best I've had). Unlike any Orland Park restaurant, you won't be disappointed!

went here for dinner..was good .We came back for lunch for Pad Thai, and we were told that was only on the week day lunch menu; they could make it for us (Saturday) but would have to charge us the "dinner" price...$ 17.00. ridiculous..apparently there is one week day lunch menu, not a lunch menu on weekends. We left and vowed to never come back. Food is small quantities (dinner) and pricey. I say save your money and time. Should have listed NO STARS

My wife and I decided to try this place out (since it was new) After walking in were thought it looked nice and where impressed a bit. But after looking at the menu we had a bit of shell shock over the price. At first we wanted to walk out, but then I decided to try it just the one time. I thought the food was ok, but not worth the price. We are some what of food snobs and usually dine in the city, where we get better quality food for usually less the price. This being said, it is one of the better places I have eaten at in this area, but probably will not go back due to the price. Note to the owners, I don't think people really know your there or open and suggest some flyer or announcements.

Great food. The 'Tasty chicken' and the enoki stuffed pork was excellent. I did not have an alcoholic beverage but the Kumquat iced tea and the iced Vietnamese coffee was excellent. The staff was great. The decor is beautiful. I look forward to returning to try more items on the menu!

Great Place! The atmosphere is relaxing. The food is excellent. I have been here multiple times. I have tried multiple dishes, all good. Some items might be a bit on the high side but still less expensive than some of the downtown restaurants. They do have some chicken entrees that are around $ 16.00, which is reasonable. They great and filling. I feel that this place caters to any budget with great food. I also enjoy that they change up the menus from time to time.

Two problems - (1) the assumption that everyone had when we mentioned the restaurant was that it was BBQ. (2) in the 'burbs, any Asian restaurant tends to have to fight against the stereotype of inexpensive delivery. This is a restaurant, folks - no different than going to Ottimo for Italian as opposed to pizza delivery. So for those that continue to complain about the prices, do you think you would ever get beautifully prepared lamb chop satay appetizers and sea bass entrees delivered to your door with your fried rice and General Tso? And then you wonder why only chain restaurants open their doors here as opposed to imaginative or unique restaurants such as this. Back to the food - it is indeed southeast-Asian based, so the dishes were colorful and fragrant and a bit more focused upon seafood. The Malaysian satay was excellent (very tender lamb and the satay was perfect), and the lemongrass springrolls had the right blend of well-prepared meat with the fresh crunchy vegetables. The Q salad was surprisingly good - although the mixture looked almost standard - mesclun greens, onions, tomatoes - the dressing plus the mango gave it a completely different refreshing flavor with the ginger overtones. It really livened the palette in preparation for the entrees. The yellow curry chicken was fantastic. The curry had a nice depth of flavor; the chicken was extremely tender and obviously slow cooked; it fell off the bone and had absorbed the seasoning very well. The seafood lover dish was bright and fresh, and again all of the flavors were on the mark. For dessert we had the green tea tiramisu with hazelnut. While (because of the French influence) I would have hoped somewhat for more pastries in the dessert menu, the tiramisu was very good - not too sweet, and still paired well with coffee. The wine by the glass was decent, not overly priced and for the size of the restaurant it was fine. They do offer take-out. Would definitely like to see this restaurant succeed - it was very lovely to have a great meal that could have easily been 30% more in the city, with only a 5-minute drive! Consider that when you think about pricing and value.

This is a very good restaurant!! The food is extremely good. The eggrolls and the Salmon are to die for. They have so many unique Martinis to wet your whistle. I highly recommend this place for a nice quiet meal.

Saturday Afternoon, 2:30 PM, want to eat out, but don't want to deal with crowds and such. Talked the wife into going to Q, and off we go. The restaurant is absolutely drop dead gorgeous! Open dining area, so I'm guessing it may get noisy in there at peak hours. When we arrived, one car in the front lot, and no customers in the place. The server sat us down, got us the water, and then gave us ample time to peruse the menu. We started off with the Seafood Roll appetizer and the Pork Belly appetizer. Seafood Rolls were the best hybrid egg rolls I have ever had. There was a spicy mayonnaise in that egg roll that just knocked it out of the park. The Pork Belly was almost passed over for something else, and my wife thought it was not going to work, as it was "pork fat". Well, that would have been a terrible pass on her part. She tried it, loved it, and almost missed the hidden gem of the dish... The sweet pear dressing on the little side salad was phenomenal. We then picked up a cocktail, X-Rated was the one, and it was also very tasty. Not a martini, which I'm not a big boozy kind of person. It went with the apps very nicely. My wifes dinner choice was the Honey Chicken with rice. Presentation was excellent, was expecting bone in chicken, and should have anticipated that it would have been dark meat. It was well cooked, and it was very flavorful. I had the Enoki Stuffed Pork, if you're reading this, Enoki is mushrooms. The dish was kind of spicy, which I enjoyed. The wasabi mashed sweet potatoes were good, but not sure if they were totally simpatico with the pork, but hey, I didn't open the restaurant and time will tell. Finished off with dessert, the Peach Brulee, nice and well presented. After an hour, still no one in the restaurant. Granted, only about 3:30 PM, but still, no one in the place. So, if there was one con, here it is... When we left, outside the restaurant, right in the first row of parking, were 2 employee cars. Full disclosure, parking is kind of weird there, and there are roughly 8-10 spots of primo parking. Having spots taken by employees should not happen. Q is a strong recommendation, and will repeat, and may try the carryout for the Pad Thai.

Phenomenal. Won ton soup, mango avocado salad, lemongrass spring rolls, enoki stuffed pork with wasabi mashed sweet potatoes, curry salmon, green tea tiramisu, everything was great. Anxious to go back and work our way through the rest of the menu. Great to have a new restaurant in OP that's not a chain.

I was here for lunch on the weekend and we were literally the only people in the place. It's a beautifully decorated restaurant and the food was good. We had the seafood roll and a chicken dish whose name escapes me now. (It's in a peanut sauce.) The last lobster roll I had was at Shaw's and it was incredible and huge. This one is quite small even for an appetizer. It's smaller than most egg rolls. it's wrapped in a won ton wrapper but let me emphasize that's it's $12 and there is nothing to it. The chicken dish was good but know going into it, it is loaded/completely smothered in the peanut sauce which makes for an incredibly unappetizing presentation. It tastes fine but looks gross. Topping it off was the bread pudding, with raspberry something which I took two bites of and called it a day. It was my bday and I think it was on the house which is why I took a bite, but this is the kind of dessert you try and say, "nope, not wasting the calories on this one." I think the prices are very expensive for the amount of food provided.

I've driven by this restaurant a hundred times without stopping, so when my husband and I had a yen for Asian at lunchtime, he suggested Q. What a lovely surprise! First off, the decorating and ambiance have been very well thought out. Simple and elegant, it was a step above any of the numerous chain restaurants on nearby LaGrange Road in Orland Park. The music is French, which caught me off guard, but totally adds to the experience. then there is the food. I ordered the Pineapple Curry Shrimp, and if ever a dish could do a dance on my tongue, it was this. Just a tad spicy, not sweet at all (I was expecting sweet from the pineapple), but more "fresh" from the pineapple. 6 nice sized shrimp, served with a side of perfect rice. no dessert (not a believer in dessert with lunch!), but I'd love to try the bread pudding with raspberry coulis next time. there will be a next time- it won't be another 100 drive bys before I am back!

We dined here spur of the moment and we were not disappointed. We started off easy with Qlamari and Pork Belly. Both were excellent. We shared five entrees which really stretched the chef's range: Seared Tuna, Sesame Duck, Enoki Stuffed Pork, Spicy Sea, and Honey Chicken. The seared tuna was prepared well, the side of noodles was terrific. The Crispy Duck was also well prepared and came with deep fried noodles which were unusual and awesome. The Enoki stuffed pork was spicy and delicious. It was my favorite dish. The Spicy Sea was not spicy, but the scallops were cooked to perfection. The lobster tail was well prepared. It was a little messy to remove from the shell, but worth the effort. The side of Thai basil fried rice was my favorite side of all the dishes. The Honey Chicken was excellent. It was a thigh and leg. Although good, I would really suggest that you branch out and try some of the other offerings since the other dishes are great. (We do have friends that only like steak houses, so the Honey Chicken would be a good choice for them).

Visited Q tonight with my girlfriends for the Martini Tasting and it was great! The owners, two sisters, are absolutely lovely, friendly and accommodating. Three (not-so mini) martini's out of this world paired with 2 appetizers individually portioned for each of us. Enough food to be called dinner and they were delicious! Spring Rolls, Chicken and Salad. Best martini's around, I will be back for the next tasting!

In a word? Delightful. The space is clean. Super cool lighting. Modern and simple. Hardwood floors. Somewhat more upscale than I was unexpecting but this was a pleasant surprise. They had high chairs stacked in the corner, so I assume kids are welcome. We went on a Friday night. We did not have to wait. We enjoyed green tea martinis, a tuna appetizer, massaman curry and beef stew. The massaman curry was not on the dinner menu but when I asked for it, I was told yes they could make it. The entrees were full of flavor. The portions were very good. The beef stew made a very satisfying meal. Service was professional. Q is off the beaten path but absolutely worth the trek.

This place was fantastic. Hearty appetizers and the main courses were to die for. Great selections of wines and I can't wait to go to one of their martini pairings. I went with 2 friends and we ordered 2 appetizers and 3 entrees and created a family style to share. All were fantastic but above all, the Sea Bass was the best of the best. The outside looks like it was a diner but the inside was warm, cozy and very elegant. The service was also outstanding. I highly recommend and will going back soon.

Had a great experience here with my girlfriend. The staff are very nice and the place is very nice has a modern touch of fine asian dining. The food is good minimal size fit for a fine dining restaurant. We tried the frog legs tempura and it was very deliciuos. And for the entrees we tried the chicken katsu and the tasty chicken was good and for dessert the green tea tiramisu and it was good too overall the place is great and good for casual dining..

We dined in at Q today and we quite impressed. I'd probably give 4.5 stars if I could because some of the dishes were a bit pricey, but just a bit. Admittedly, the portions with the appetizers were impressive - four appetizers for two was a complete meal. We had appetizers, a Cucumber martini and the chocolate marzipan cake. The martini was spectacular, light as you'd expect a cucumber drink to be, a bit sweet, some tang, very yummy. The cake was delicious, but a bit pricey at $8. The Qlamari (calamari) was between OK and good, and not on par with the other appetizers we had. The Vietnamese Fish Cakes were good, but not the type of dish you can't wait to have again; the salad that came with it was great. The Lapin (rabbit loin, vermicelli, green curry on sesame/rice "chips") was excellent. The knock-it-out-of-the-park appetizer was Land and Sea, three pork meatballs stuffed with escargot in a coconut milk/basil sauce that was a bit like a curry. That sauce was fantastic - one of the best things made with coconut milk I've ever had. They serve a few bread slices with it to get all that sauce....yum! The meatball aspect was good, but the escargot was a bit lost in the whole affair. We'll likely be back to try entrees and some other appetizers.

Absolutely delicious food, impeccable service, and convenient Orland location! I've visited this location several times when visiting my parents. After living in Hawaii for seven years, I'm very picky about the quality of Vietnamese/fusion cuisine. I've never been disappointed at Q! Every dish is packed with flavor and you can tell that they don't skimp on the quality of ingredients. For example, the summer sea rolls include the freshest vegetables and the hoisin sauce balances perfectly with the sweetness of the seafood. The chef and servers are very knowledgeable about the food and will gladly chat with you about any aspect of the dishes. I love learning about the inspiration behind my favorites, like the spicy sea. For those who might have concerns about the prices: you get what you pay for! The quality of the ingredients and the masterful concoctions of flavor mean that your meal will be exceptional. Plus, the portions are extremely generous, so the price is quite reasonable when considering comparable gourmet fare. I highly recommend Q for a delicious meal with family, a date night, or a night out with friends.

I can only think that the positive reviews are either paid or from people who are seriously palate-challenged. The first clue should have been that we were the only people in the restaurant for lunch. Unfortunately, we ignored the warning. When I asked the server if the beef was grass fed he simply told me he didn't know. I was processing my bewilderment over the fact that he didn't offer to ask the kitchen and before I could ask him to do so he informed me that they use very good quality ingredients, they order from Sysco. I don't know enough about Sysco to have the details from where they source their goods, but it hardly suggests a local or, at least, reputable farm which would be closer to my personal definition of quality. We ordered spring rolls as a starter and the menu offered a shrimp or beef option. My friend asked if we could split the order and have a few pieces of each and were informed the "kitchen would kill him." Again, no attempt to even *ask* if it were a possibility which might be likely since we were the ONLY people in the restaurant. When they arrived the lettuce looked old so I passed but my friends ate it even though they felt it was bland. They both opted for Mussaman Curry with beef and, again, felt it was rather bland. I opted for the Seafood Soup, I mean, Seafood Salad. What was delivered was a shallow bowl filled with damaged and old lettuce with mushy seafood floating in what looked like broth but was actually the salad dressing. Since my friend was treating I didn't want to be rude so I didn't send it back but goodness, it was vile. He wanted dessert so I said I'd share a bite. On the menu was the option for peach creme brulee. PEACH. We aren't even close to peaches being in season! He opted for the banana bread pudding and it was another disappointment, replete with purplish/ black bananas. The menu sounded like it had some interesting options but they don't seem to be able to execute the basics properly so I can't even imagine how they would destroy anything even remotely unusual. The decor leaves little to be desired as well, imo, which is something I can get past if I receive great food and service but we received neither. Though the server was pleasant and polite, he didn't take the extra step to make us happy nor did we even receive a farewell at the door when we left. To top it off, my friend became quite ill shortly after we left. Finally, I feel the prices are insulting considering the blatant disregard of using fresh and seasonal ingredients combined with poor execution.

Must stop waiting so long to write reviews... or maybe it's better this way because I have time to reflect. So Q... It seems as I may have to go back looking at other reviews, but I just wasn't impressed with the food, especially for the price. I can go into the city and pay less for better food. We went later in the evening and no one else was there so who knows if that was the cause, but the pho wasn't great nor the beef stew. I liked the decor and everything, but with small dishes and high prices it's hard to want to go back.

Beautiful space, very helpful and attentive service and fabulous food. This is upscale fine dining in a surprising location. There is a nice selection of wine and cocktails also. I would call it more of a special occasion place, but most people are very casually dressed.

What a wonderful find this restaurant was thanks to Yelp app, best restaurants near you..Always on the look out for new and unique restuarants we had missed this gem..Q is a family owned/run restaurant featuring Asian fusion and it is a total winner.Ellie was the hostess/waitress and a go getter, working the tables, explaining the offerings and fun person. Decor reminds you of high end locations in the city..also has a nice outside seating area, albeit raining last night. We had the yummy Malaysian Lamb Satay for starters, followed by Pho (which we split) and it was the best ever, flavorful full of goodies and would be a meal in itself if not sharing...and then we shared Red Sea entree, which is whole fried red snapper with lovely sauce...and surprised us with delish cake we shared. I predict Q will be a winner, they are working hard and doing it right..adding music (check web for when) extensive martini list, good wine list and amazing food..home run for Orland Park.

I am lucky that everyone in my family loves to Yelp. My one daughter found this restaurant on Yelp, another daughter and my wife did the initial visit and this past weekend, I got to benefit from all that research. My wife and I came here for an early dinner and it was one of the top five meals of my life. I started with Summer sea rolls which were the best shrimp roll I have ever had. So fresh and delicious I may never be able to eat them anywhere else again. Be sure to add the sauce for even more of a taste sensation. I then enjoyed the Wonton soup, exquisite with a very different and fabulous flavor. We were two for two and then I received my perfect entree of Sea Spice, scallops and lobster done to perfection. For dessert we shared an amazing banana bread pudding with white chocolate and raspberry coulis. It was so perfectly blended that I was quite happy when my wife was too full and abandoned the rest of the dessert to me. All this tasty perfection has a price. You have high quality food in a serene and elegant setting with attentive and perfect service. This does not come cheap. But it is the meal of a lifetime. 5 well deserved stars.

Delicious food! Speedy service! The curry chicken was delectable! We went at around 3 on a Saturday and were the only guests there. Perfect time to go if you want to get in and out. From the apps to the entrees, everything was delicious!!!!

We heard about a charming very good Vietnamese French Fusion Restaurant on 159th Street in Orland Park. What a lovely charming place. The owners 2 sisters are so warm and Friendly . They will customize any of there dishes like if you don't like mushrooms they will take them out..They have great tasting martinis..And the appetizers like the shrimp Asian tempura is light and delicious also try the Avocado Lover oh so tasty..Also we have had the Chicken Katsu is one of my favorites. ..Also french beefsteak very tender and juicy..You must try this restaurant for a great experience in dining well worth the trip..

Oh what a hidden gem, driven by so many times, looks like nothing from the outside. But this is fusion done right on a level that rivals much more expensive restaurant and definitely not expected in the burbs. The 2 sisters that run it (one in the kitchen, one in the front) are very professional and both super attentive. The fusion flavor combination coming out of the kitchen will blow you away ... sweet potato / wasabi, asian spice rubs, rabbit with glass noodles, the list goes on. The French Beefsteak (their signature dish) is worth a lot of press but my personal favorite so far has been the ribs with sensational spice rub. Come with an open mind and you will be rewarded. P.S. wine by the bottle is surprisingly inexpensive. The fact that there is no TV and French chansons quietly playing in the background adds to the ambiance.

I can only give an initial semi-review of Q, as I have only gotten take out. For those of you that just drive by, Q is not a family style Greek restaurant. It is surprisingly a Asian/French fusion restaurant. The sign really does not do the place justice. At least it is a fusion restaurant if you are dining in. I was informed that the take out menu differs greatly from the in house menu. Regardless, I got two orders of Pad Thai to go. While waiting I sat at the bar and had a beer, they had a nice selection of foreign beer, I had some Japanese white ale. It was good. The food came out fairly quickly and it was very good. I have been looking fro good Pad Thai in the area for some time and I feel good about this. The only problem is that it is a bit expensive.

Fabulous meal, but lack luster ambience. Incredible service, but have never seen more than 3-4 people there. From the outside it looks like a pancake house, but once inside you realize the owner is your waitress and she will do anything to make your meal a good one. Very pricey, but worth it on a special occasion.

I was not very impressed with the food at this place. We came here on a limb to try the food. The service was good. The place is very nice and elegant. We ordered 1 appetizer and 2 entrees. The pork belly was a little too tough for my liking. The pho was $14 and to me, it was more on the pricier end. I don't mind paying more for food, but overall, I was not impressed. The portion was small and the broth was just too salty. We also tried the beef stew. Seemed like the fiancee was not impressed by that dish either. The presentation on the dishes were nice, but overall, I thought that the food was overpriced for what you got. Will probably not go back due to the price of the food.

My wife and I tried Q this week. It's really hard to find good quality restaurants in the south suburbs. Q was pretty darn good. I would recommend the: - lemon chicken - French Beef Steak. Skip the - Pad Thai - Curry Chicken - Peach Creme Brulee.

In a word?

This place is AMAZING. The steak is over the top. French ...something. Sorry I just had three cucumber martini's. WOW.

I wonder if anyone here knows that this place is a play on words...that the specialty here is Pho...which is pronounced "Fuh.." ...so "Fuh...Q".

Beautiful space, very helpful and attentive service and fabulous food. This is upscale fine dining in a surprising location. There is a nice selection of wine and cocktails also. I would call it more of a special occasion place, but most people are very casually dressed.

This is a true City dining experience in the suburbs.

went here for dinner..was good .We came back for lunch for Pad Thai, and we were told that was only on the week day lunch menu; they could make it for us (Saturday) but would have to charge us the "dinner" price...$ 17.00. ridiculous..apparently there is one week day lunch menu, not a lunch menu on weekends. We left and vowed to never come back. Food is small quantities (dinner) and pricey. I say save your money and time. Should have listed NO STARS

Way Too expensive for what you receive...Need to increase the quality AND QUANTITY OF FOOD...Also I would ensure waitstaff knows how to answer simple questions about your food, etc

PV

In a word?

I would call it more of a special occasion place, but most people are very casually dressed.

went here for dinner..was good .We came back for lunch for Pad Thai, and we were told that was only on the week day lunch menu; they could make it for us (Saturday) but would have to charge us the "dinner" price...$ 17.00. ridiculous..apparently there is one week day lunch menu, not a lunch menu on weekends.

QFajitas - There take on fajitas excellent Everything was great the food was spectacular the service stupendous! I would highly recommend this place fresh food fresh atmosphere!

When we tried Q Restaurant last night on the rave recommendation of a friend, the first thing our server said to us was, "This must be your first time here because I don't recognize you." That's a sign that this Vietnamese-French fusion restaurant that opened in July already has some regular customers, which is good because I really want this place to succeed! The cuisine is as excellent as anything you would expect to find in a high-end restaurant in the city, and it's always nice to see something different like this in the southern suburbs. The chef, Quee (hence the name of the restaurant, although it's pronounced more like "Kay"), is all of 26 years old and was trained at Le Cordon Bleu, while her sister Quan (aka Ellie) and her brother-in-law run the dining room and the bar, which carries a good, decently-priced wine selection and some interesting martinis. The menu is mostly Vietnamese with a few Thai and French dishes, also.(The French influence, of course, comes from that period in history when colonization used to be all the rage.) After the hubby and I split an appetizer of Mayonnaise Seafood Rolls coated with crispy panko breadcrumbs, I had the Seafood Lover entrée -- a mixture of crunchy vegetables and fresh seafood such as scallops, shrimp, crab meat and calamari in a spicy brandy red curry sauce, surrounded by a corona of crispy noodles and garnished with a flower. My husband went with the French Beefsteak, which was actually a high-end version of steak and eggs that turned out to be a family recipe from the sisters' grandfather -- a juicy filet mignon and two sunny-side up eggs swimming in a sea of brandy-accented jus. (Ellie said her grandfather used to slurp up the excess juice right from the dish, but since we're not used to doing that in a restaurant, she kindly put it in a container for us to take home.) Dessert was a luscious banana bread pudding with white chocolate and raspberry coulis for me, and tiramisu topped with an interesting green tea-flavored mascarpone for the hubby. Like many suburban restaurants, Q Restaurant is located in a strip mall, in this case behind a Starbucks on 159th Street, just west of the intersection of 159th and Wolf Road. The décor is understated yet elegant, with contemporary furnishings and Asian touches in the decoration. Our total tab for the night, including the gratuity and a bottle of 2010 Terrazas Altos del Plata Malbec wine, was $166, which is a bit pricey by suburban standards but hey -- you get what you pay for. If you want cheap food, there's millions of other places to go. I thought it was worth it for the first-rate cuisine and service. We'll be back!
(5)Kathleen M.

Incredible! This is a hidden gem in Orland Park!! The decor is elegant yet casual, the music was beautiful and our waiter was fantastic. Most importantly though... The food was amazing!!! I had the red curry catfish and my fiancé had the spicy basil stir fry with beef. We both loved our dishes. We started with the Panko egg rolls with tofu. Fabulous. We will be back again for dinner and to try some of their martinis. (The martini menu looked amazing too) I highly recommend this restaurant. Great for vegetarians and meat eaters alike! Both lunch and dinner!!
(5)Mary Beth R.
Way way way too expensive! There are so many other restaurants to choose from in this area.

My girlfriend and I went to Q for dinner and really enjoyed our meals. Staff was nice and professional and food was great. Presentation was also great and well thought out. Reservation is probably not needed for now but hopefully through word of mouth, that will change.
(4)Nezar Z.
(5)Frank S.
Excellent food & drinks. Met both the owners, they are young & ambitious! I respect that. We will be back
(4)mick v.
(5)Melissa S.
Very impressed! Chicken pad Thai was excellent! Carried out, but definitely going back to sit down & some martinis!!

Way Too expensive for what you receive...Need to increase the quality AND QUANTITY OF FOOD...Also I would ensure waitstaff knows how to answer simple questions about your food, etc

(3)Tim J.
I wonder if anyone here knows that this place is a play on words...that the specialty here is Pho...which is pronounced "Fuh.." ...so "Fuh...Q".
(3)Carol V.
Beautiful space, very helpful and attentive service and fabulous food. This is upscale fine dining in a surprising location. There is a nice selection of wine and cocktails also. I would call it more of a special occasion place, but most people are very casually dressed.
(5)Deb S.

Excellent food. Immaculate restaurant, so clean. Martini's were out of this world. Highly recommended. Owners were always on the floor and engaging.

The appetizer was delicious, mango salad succulent, honey chicken was yummy, and dessert was phenomenal!

(5)Jeremy C.

Way way way too expensive! There are so many other restaurants to choose from in this area.
(2)Mary O.
Excellent food, beautiful atmosphere and great service. Everything I've tried has been very good. Tom yum soup, pho, and q fajita, which is stir fry, not really fajita, lol. Great appetizers, and sometimes they have live music.
(5)That G.
(1)Kurt W.
Very good fusion of French and Asian, and service was personal and attentive. Menu is very interesting, as well as flavor combinations. Not inexpensive, but good for it's price point.
(4)Cheri S.
The food is good but the prices are high for what you get.

(5)Dan H.

My wife and I tried Q this week. It's really hard to find good quality restaurants in the south suburbs. Q was pretty darn good. I would recommend the: - lemon chicken - French Beef Steak. Skip the - Pad Thai - Curry Chicken - Peach Creme Brulee.
(5)Steve I.
My wife always says I read to many reviews but this place is worth a review of my own. If Hospitality & Good Food mean anything than give this place a try....Off the Chain! Martini-A+ Shaken with Ice chips top shelf spirits. BBQ Ribs- A+ unique flavor beyond tender. QFajitas - There take on fajitas excellent Everything was great the food was spectacular the service stupendous! I would highly recommend this place fresh food fresh atmosphere!
(5)Cam R.

(5)Tamera B.
(4)Rachel S.
Employees treat you like family guests, food is unique and delicious. They had relaxing live music when we went there on a Friday night. Overall impressive for the unassuming exterior. We loved the salmon dish with the signature mojito.
(5)Phil H.
This is my first time at Q. What a mix between Asian and French cuisine experience this was. The waitress very helpful with the menu. She help us to experience a truly authentic Vietnamese dishes. The decor was amazing with great French music piped in. We would suggest this place to my friends.
(5)Kathleen M.
(5)Julie O.
In a word?

(5)Jamie K.
(5)Jackie B.
(5)Kamilah S.
My family and I came here on a Sunday to celebrate my aunt's birthday and we had an awesome time. I had the sesame duck, Qlamari, Crème Brûlée and a lychee martini. It was at least 15 of us, but everyone on my end of the table enjoyed the food.
(5)Aga S.
(5)Karen M.
(5)Ed R.
This place is AMAZING. The steak is over the top. French ...something. Sorry I just had three cucumber martini's. WOW.
(5)Deb S.
(5)Chris H.
Excellent food. Immaculate restaurant, so clean. Martini's were out of this world. Highly recommended. Owners were always on the floor and engaging.
(5)Chelsea A.

(5)Kimberly P.
(5)Colleen P.
The appetizer was delicious, mango salad succulent, honey chicken was yummy, and dessert was phenomenal!
(5)Mark G.

(5)Edward B.
(5)Xerxes C.

(1)Michael S.
(5)Clare K.
(5)Kath M.
(4)Han S.
I have visited Q twice and both times the food was nothing short of knee-buckling. Their food is right on par with the quality you would get at the finest downtown Chicago restaurant. Imaginative menu, unbelievable cocktails, personal service. This is THE gem of the southwest burbs.
(5)mick v.
(5)Melissa S.
Very impressed! Chicken pad Thai was excellent! Carried out, but definitely going back to sit down & some martinis!!
(5)Michael H.
(2)Adam W.
My girlfriend and I went to Q for dinner and really enjoyed our meals. Staff was nice and professional and food was great. Presentation was also great and well thought out. Reservation is probably not needed for now but hopefully through word of mouth, that will change.
(4)Nezar Z.
(5)Frank S.
Excellent food & drinks. Met both the owners, they are young & ambitious! I respect that. We will be back
(4)Victor N.
went here for dinner..was good .We came back for lunch for Pad Thai, and we were told that was only on the week day lunch menu; they could make it for us (Saturday) but would have to charge us the "dinner" price...$ 17.00. ridiculous..apparently there is one week day lunch menu, not a lunch menu on weekends. We left and vowed to never come back. Food is small quantities (dinner) and pricey. I say save your money and time. Should have listed NO STARS
(1)don g.
Way Too expensive for what you receive...Need to increase the quality AND QUANTITY OF FOOD...Also I would ensure waitstaff knows how to answer simple questions about your food, etc
(1)Jessica C.
(4)Jonathon W.
This is a very good restaurant!! The food is extremely good. The eggrolls and the Salmon are to die for. They have so many unique Martinis to wet your whistle. I highly recommend this place for a nice quiet meal.
(5)Corin C.

My girlfriend and I went to Q for dinner and really enjoyed our meals. Staff was nice and professional and food was great. Presentation was also great and well thought out. Reservation is probably not needed for now but hopefully through word of mouth, that will change.

(5)Frank S.
Excellent food & drinks. Met both the owners, they are young & ambitious! I respect that. We will be back

PV

(4)Han S.
I have visited Q twice and both times the food was nothing short of knee-buckling. Their food is right on par with the quality you would get at the finest downtown Chicago restaurant. Imaginative menu, unbelievable cocktails, personal service. This is THE gem of the southwest burbs.

Very impressed! Chicken pad Thai was excellent! Carried out, but definitely going back to sit down & some martinis!!
(5)Michael H.

(5)That G.

(5)Jackie B.
(5)Dan K.
(5)Cam R.

(5)Ed R.
This place is AMAZING. The steak is over the top. French ...something. Sorry I just had three cucumber martini's. WOW.
(5)Tamera B.
(5)Aga S.
(5)Julie O.
In a word?
(5)Jamie K.
(5)Deb S.

(5)Chris H.
Excellent food. Immaculate restaurant, so clean. Martini's were out of this world. Highly recommended. Owners were always on the floor and engaging.
(5)Chelsea A.

I would call it more of a special occasion place, but most people are very casually dressed.

went here for dinner..was good .We came back for lunch for Pad Thai, and we were told that was only on the week day lunch menu; they could make it for us (Saturday) but would have to charge us the "dinner" price...$ 17.00. ridiculous..apparently there is one week day lunch menu, not a lunch menu on weekends.

Very good fusion of French and Asian, and service was personal and attentive. Menu is very interesting, as well as flavor combinations. Not inexpensive, but good for it's price point.

The food is good but the prices are high for what you get.
